Increase pulse

The human body can be compared to a car engine. For it to function smoothly, all cylinders must be running. The warm-up must therefore include all the measures required for a sporting activity. In addition to mobilising the joints and mental preparation, this also includes increasing the heart rate a few times at the end of the warm-up to ensure that the body is ready to perform, so that the systems are not startled when the first major effort is made. The primary purpose of ramping up the circulatory system is to ensure that the body can already call up a high level of performance at the start of the competition or training load and that valuable time is not lost due to the ramping up of the circulatory system. Another benefit is that it prevents injuries, as the body can react better and faster to new situations when the circulation is increased.

Shorter sprint forms, e.g. in the form of relays, are suitable for increasing the heart rate. The readiness for the main part of the sports lesson/competition can also be induced in a playful way.
