Theoretical basics
Anyone who plays or teaches sport in the military is dependent on knowledge of sports biology and training theory.
Anyone who knows what happens in the body during sport, who is aware of the anatomical and physiological aspects of sporting activities, who knows the relevant anatomical and physiological aspects of sporting activities, who understands how the muscles, the nervous system and the cardiovascular system react to training stimuli, who recognizes the importance of sport for development in the various age groups and for health, can make progress in dealing with exercise, games and sport both as an athlete and as an instructor.
The theoretical foundations are limited to the biological and training science aspects. Other interesting areas such as sports psychology, sports pedagogy and sports sociology are hardly or not at all dealt with. This is largely based on documents from the Federal Office of Sport in Magglingen. The handbook on training theory by Jost Hegner “Training fundiert erklärt” forms the basis. Other brochures from the Federal Office of Sport store on various topics have a supplementary effect. No detailed sources have been cited in the chapters listed, but the text passages used can be found in the respective collection of links. The Competence Center Sport of the military would like to take this opportunity to thank Federal Office of Sport for their cooperation!
The explanations, where all designations apply to both female and male members of the armed forces, are aimed at military sports instructors and military sports instructors, as well as members of the armed forces who teach sport, do sport independently or are simply interested in sport in order to acquire and consolidate the theoretical foundations in the field of sport.
