The work is defined by the length of time during which an exercise is performed or by the number of repetitions (repetitions). A repetition is completed when the (body) weight to be overcome is overcome by a muscle contraction and returned to the starting position.
Depending on the training goal, you should aim for a different load duration or number of repetitions. As a general rule, the more weight, the fewer repetitions or shorter duration and vice versa:
