Modern and time-saving tool
The total of four hours in accordance with the regulations on sport in the military (51.041) is made up of two lessons of 30 and 90 minutes each. Surveys show that militia and professional cadres often lack the time to carefully plan their sports lessons. This is why the Sports Competence Center of the military has set up the MilSport internet platform together with the Armed Forces Digital Media Centre (AFDM). With this modern and digital tool, cadres can access complete lessons including all necessary documents, such as plans for the organization of the sports lesson (setup) or posters. The training documents are available for download, are exported to a PDF document or, even better, there is no need for paper at all and the data can be viewed on a mobile device.
Freely accessible platform
The collection of individual exercises is enormous and is constantly being expanded. If you don't want to use a sample lesson, you can put together your own lesson directly on the platform from the existing exercises and add your own exercises if necessary. As MilSport is open to the public, the content and functions can be accessed by conscripts, professional military personnel and even interested parties from sports associations.
Content is constantly being added in four languages
The Sports Competence Center is striving to enrich the already extensive platform with additional content. The content is available in German, French, Italian and English. The basic language is German, for the other languages we rely on the help of a translation program. The automatically generated translations are sporadically corrected manually. A contact form can be used to suggest additional exercises or submit self-compiled lessons so that they can be published.
