esa manual basics

The manual supports instructors in living their passion for sport and sharing this enthusiasm with others. It aims to develop an attitude that guides sporting activities with adults, promoting health and creating lasting experiences.

Introduction and Structure

The esa instructor course is a success model with about 2,000 graduates annually across nearly 50 disciplines.

The core is the "educational understanding". The manual covers engagement (attitude), understanding the discipline (content/what), and teaching (methodology/how).

Six protagonists (participants, instructors, and experts) provide different viewpoints and deeper background knowledge.

Digital Learning Modules

The manual is integrated with interactive web-based modules (approx. 20–30 minutes each) and additional online resources like mobilesport.ch.
