Military sports tests
The physical fitness of the troops is tested during service with various practical sports tests. The army's fitness test plays a decisive role here, as it forms the basis for military categorisation and is sometimes carried out again in a shortened form during each service. If possible, the personal evaluation should be discussed and compared with the previous results and serves as a training guide for the time between services. In addition to the conditional factors, coordination skills are also tested by means of obstacle courses in the field and in the hall and an indoor course. Furthermore, agility and technique on the climbing pole are tested, as climbing should continue to be an integral part of sports training compared to school in the military.
Anyone who decides to pursue a military cadre career and is involved in sport can train from military sports leader to military sports leader instructor, for which special sports examinations must be passed.
